Muhammed Sanusi Barkindo dies after meeting Buhari,as Shehu Sani reacts.

Former Senator Shehu Sani of Kaduna Central reacted to the death of Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, CEO of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). 

Barkindo died on Tuesday evening ,at about 11 pm, at the age of 63. Announced by Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Limited. 

Barkindo met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday when he died. Buhari praised Barkindo's contributions to the oil and gas industry. 

The president praised the outgoing OPEC leader for his contribution to stabilizing the oil sector. 

Reacting to his demise, Sani saidBarkindo’s death showed that life was transient.

In a tweet, he wrote: “Muhammad Sanusi Barkindo, former GMD NNPC and until recently, @OPECSecretariat scribe, was celebrated and honoured yesterday. He died 11pm yesternight.

“May Allah grant him Aljanna firdausi.Amin. That is the ephemerality and transience of life.”
